12 Valentine’s Day Treats
These are simple and fast to make – only 3 basic ingredients and customize however you like after that!
#2 Strawberry Coconut Butter Hearts
“Because they are naturally sweetened with strawberries, raw honey, and beet juice, they are safe for those on special diets such as the GAPS and Paleo diets. Grain-free, sugar-free, dairy-free goodness!”
This one has two different recipe versions to try (one dairy-free and an updated one with yummy cream), and it also comes with a how-to video! If you want dairy-free for the newer recipe, just use coconut cream in place of heavy cream.
It’s a delicious, rich, amazing vanilla cake that is entirely grain- and refined-sugar free and GAPS-friendly!
#5 Custard Style Vanilla Ice Cream
From Kate: “I can’t call it healthy, because, well, it’s dessert. But it’s a lot better than the store-bought stuff since it’s made from real, whole ingredients!”
This is a great way to top a yummy treat! It lasts several weeks in the fridge so you can use just a small amount at once…if you don’t eat it right away because it’s too awesome.
This one is rich but not overpowering, sweet but not too sweet, and moist and yummy all around! Works great for making into a cake roll also!
#8 Tiramisu
This puts a great twist on the traditional tiramisu, as well as being a bit easier to make!
This has a wonderful texture and rich chocolate flavor!
#10 Simple Strawberry Cheesecake
Who doesn’t love a good ole’ Strawberry Cheesecake?
This frosting is so tasty, you may need a second batch for the cake!
These are a great breakfast or healthy little snack made with love!
