This frosting is very simple, very quick, and includes only 4 ingredients. We put it on any cakes, our carrot cake waffles, or even use as a fruit dip!
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1/2 c. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. powdered sucanat*
*To make this, just run sucanat through a blender or food processor.
Add the butter and cream cheese to a medium bowl.
Add the vanilla.
Beat this mixture together briefly with a hand mixture. This is easier if the butter and cream cheese are softened.
Add the sucanat, then beat again.
That’s it! Once it’s fully mixed, it’s done!
thinking about using coconut oil instead of butter as I am out of vanilla and that would add a nice, sweet, mild coconut flavor. any thoughts on this?
