Imagine it’s a hot summer day. The kids are in the yard playing as you sit outside watching them. Somehow, despite you (mostly) sitting still and them wildly running around, you’re the one overheated and sweaty. You could really go for a nice refreshing beverage. That’s where this iced tea recipe comes in.
Of course, this wasn’t the scenario when I originally made this recipe. When I created this recipe, I was simply craving peach tea. To satisfy the craving, I decided to see what would happen if I mixed some things together. A deliciously refreshing and healthy iced tea was the result.
Peaches’n’honey Tea
If you’re like me and using loose-leaf tea, I recommend using a tea strainer/infuser.
Ingredients:
- 1 – 2 black tea bags (I use loose-leaf black tea)
- 8 oz. water
- 1.5 tsp. rooibos tea — optional (I use loose-leaf rooibos tea)
- 1 tbsp. raw honey
- 2 – 3 peach slices
Directions:
Step 1: Boil water.
Step 2: Add in the black tea and rooibos tea (if omitting rooibos, use two black teas)
Step 3: Steep for 3 – 5 minutes.
Step 4: Remove tea and mix in the honey
Step 5: Pour the tea into a blender with the peach slices. Blend until smooth and serve over ice.

MMM- would love some of this peach tea right now! I love pretty much any black tea, and anything with the name chi in it 🙂 Peppermint tea always seems to settle my stomach- Thanks for the post!
