Benefits of the Herbs
This tea blend combines four herbs, all of which play a specific role in overcoming postpartum depression.
Licorice root is used because it favorably affects hormonal balance. Additional health benefits of licorice root include:

Postpartum Tea for Depression
Ingredients:
- 1/2 ounce dried, shredded licorice root
- 1 ounce dried, crumbled red raspberry leaf
- 1 ounce dried, finely cut rosemary leaves
- 1 ounce dried, cut skullcap
Directions:
Step 1: To make this tea, combine the herbs well and store in an airtight container.
Step 2: Add 2 teaspoons to 1 cup of boiling water when ready to consume.
This brew is particularly interesting and strong tasting and smelling. Drink two or more cups daily for several weeks or up to two months.
