Seasoned Fries

Ingredients

  • 4 - 5 medium potatoes
  • Sea salt
  • 2 - 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 - 4 tbsp. avocado oil

Instructions

  • Wash and slice your potatoes.  You can do them as thicker wedges or thinner fries.  It's best not to be too thin because they'll burn more easily.
  • Put them all on a baking tray.
  • Grate the garlic (or mince).  Add the garlic, oil, and salt to the fries and toss them around on the tray to coat them evenly.  Avocado oil is best because it has such a high smoke point.  It also has a nice, neutral flavor, so your garlic can shine!
  • Put your fries in a 350ºF degree oven.  They'll need to bake for 30 - 40 minutes, stirred at least once so they brown evenly on all sides.
  • Serve the fries hot, just as they are, or add a sprinkle of parsley or cheese (depending on your preference).
