Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp. whole wheat flour buckwheat for gluten-free
  • 1/4 cup honey or coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1 - 3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 quart apple pie filling

Instructions

  • Put your dry ingredients and coconut oil in a small bowl.  I like a lot of cinnamon so I added 3 tsp.  It was really good.  If you're not such a fan, you can use less.
  • Stir it up, mixing the coconut oil in well.
  • Pour your apple pie filling into an 8" round pan.
  • Crumble the filling over the pie filling, then bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve hot with fresh whipped cream!
