Turmeric-Lime Electrolyte Drink

Ingredients

  • 4-5 slices of fresh turmeric root about 1” long and 1/4" thick
  • 1 Juice of lime
  • 3 cups water divided
  • 2-3 tbsp. raw honey
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  • Add the turmeric root and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil, and boil for about 10 minutes.
  • Strain out the turmeric root. Add the honey, lime juice, sea salt, and baking soda. Stir to combine.
  • Add the remaining (cool) water and ice. This will make 3-4 cups, depending on how much ice you add. Serve!

Notes

It's super easy to keep this in the fridge and grab it as needed.  Store it in glass, if possible, for up to 3 days.
