According to the police, the accused Dheeraj is a resident of Karnal. He was arrested from Panipat. Pankaj was arrested from Noida, he is a resident of Madhubani in Bihar.

Both used to meet at Badarpur Chowk to commit the crime and used to return to their respective homes after the incident.
