The utter insipidity, the fundamental mediocrity of this, coupled with the fact that not only Random bought it, but Netflix made a film of it, and that millions of teens fell for it, gives me a major fright. I mean. Thank God I regularly see several teenage readers here on GR who show a markedly higher level of erudition. Wha all 4 comments. Oh dear. This book- this book was a mess to the point where I would legitimately tear it apart had it not been on my kindle.
When you hear a bookworm saying that they would tear apart a book, that's your cue to leave this forever in the dusty not picked up pile. Honestly, this whole book was just making out, screaming at each other, fighting, and characters acting like all around stereotypical abusive teenagers. To put it simply. So you're got a shaky foundation. To add to that, I found quite boohh f Oh dear. To add to that, I found quite a few typos and grammatical errors, and the author's writing style wasn't good to begin with. So you're adding some cheap bones to that house. Then, to top it all off, this book is problematic in terms of the main character keeps deciding to come back to an unreliable, abusive idiot. So obviously our onf fell down. To start this book off, we have Elle and Liam lay around not doing anything, cracking offensive jokes that rely on gender standards. So that was a fun twenty percent. Unfortunately, my calculator does not compute these highly unrealistic, just simply stupid events.
So we're just going to talk about why this is problematic. Basically, Noah's been going around telling boys that he'll hurt them if what is kissing booth one rated ask Elle on a date. Not to mention the fact that he's threatening assault on people who did absolutely nothing. And that also plays a big theme throughout the book, but that's definitely not in the way it should. There were also moments when Noah would force Elle into making out or doing whatever else when she had clearly said no. And that is a big no-no. N-O Noah. Can you say it with me? Since ratrd quite obviously this book has shown he has no idea what the meaning of that word kissig. I'm not rsted going to begin to what is kissing booth one rated into these shallow, self obsessed characters and this cringe-worthy writing, but to put it shortly, they were awful. Long story short, I hated this book and will never recommend it to anyone unless of course they're looking for a book to compete with their least favorite book.

But when the school carnival rolls around and Elle and Lee find themselves running the most popular booth of all, things start going a little sideways. Which leads to Elle and Noah following the sage advice of one R. But seriously, they decide to keep it on the down low. What can go wrong, right? If you grew up on John Hughes movies and are not a member of Generation Butthurt, you might find this enjoyable as well. Or you can make me morph into Mallory Archer and want to scream at you. Because you refuse to stop being obstinate long enough to attempt to understand the points Beth Reekles was trying what is kissing booth one rated get across.

And certainly, please not a movie on this book! It's a total pain. Synopsis: Meet Rochelle Evans: pretty, popular--and never been kissed. Elle, a high school junior, is back from the summer haze that turned her into a beautiful young woman. And little did she knew that she caught the eye of every guy in her school. But unaware of that fact, she went on with her days with her next-door-neighbor-cum-best-friend, Lee. So together, they plan a Kissing Booth for charity on their school's boot carnival. But to Elle's surprise, who has never been kissed before, found herself kissing the guy whom she had a crush on like forever, and that is, Lee's older brother, Noah. Now Elle and Lee made a bunch of childish friendship rules when they were kids, so dating or kissing or sleeping with Noah would be big no-no for Elle and Lee's friendship. Anyhow, Noah and Elle begin to see each other secretly, but hell breaks loose, when Lee finds out about their relationship. What will happen then? The author's writing style is okay, not that great. The plot lacks emotions, hence the readers will fail to connect with the characters and their emotions. The dialogues are crappy and way too cheesy, no one, especially, no teenager now talk or communicate in this fashion ever.
For realistic dialogues, refer to the book, 13 Reasons Why. As a whole, the story is "too been there, done that" kind, it's a very common story, when a girl is falling for her best friend's brother. But what the book lacked strongly was the true essence of friendship and id bond between Elle and Lee, instead of shedding too much light on the immature teenagish love story between Elle and Noah. The characters are not at all close to reality, they lack honesty in their demeanor. I felt like reading about a bunch of fashion models who happen to be fictional. So many elements and layers lacked in this book, especially the cast of parental characters, who are supposed to play a strong role in the life of these teenagers, and the oen from having a mother to having no mother in the life of Elle is pathetically depicted in the book.
Like I said, the characters lacked to show any kind of emotion, only teenagers action high on their hormones. But hey, if you want to re-live your teenage summer days blazing in the afterglow of the summer sun and a hot crush's kiss klssing your lips, then do grab a copy of this book now, as the author has vividly painted what is kissing booth one rated summer days and how teenagers waste it high on alcohol, parties, kisses and one-night stands.
