I think this could have made a great full length novel though, and I would have read it, but in this format it just didn't match up to The Kissing Booth books. This novella was a very cute addition to the kissing booth series and I enjoyed it very much. I hope this comes out for the kindle app. Will definitely hold a permanent spot on my bookshelf. What better to take the best friend's convertible and drive down Route 66 looking for adventure and fun. A book read in one go, so much so that I hooked on the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with characters that are as endearing as ever. The main character is Elle Evans who is missing her boyfriend and has decided to do a road trip with her best friend Lee to Boston to meet up with Amanda and Noah. Elle is getting ready to go to college and wants one perfect spring break before the stress of picking a college. This novella is a romance young adult book. My favourite bit was Elle an I decided to read this book as I loved the first four in the series. All the things you expected out of a road trip with their usual banter. I missed Rachel in this goidreads Levi. I loved all the banter in this and the cute moments with Elle and Noah. This is the perfect novella before the final novel in the series which I am very excited for. The book was decent. It was just a fluffy romance that didn't take too much effort and booty pretty fun. It was just a really easy-going road-trip story about friends and finding the main character's boyfriend in college. But, not a lot happened - there isn't much plot. Am I excited for the movie? Even though this book was downright disappointing? Every character — except for Rachel, I think — behaved like an absolute shithead. Lee especially disappointed me a lot. Why did he act like an asshole and lied not only to Elle but also to his girlfriend?! Just because he spent time with the football team?!?!
Levi, a new character, was the only one I was rooting for. He deserved better! Elle behaved incredibly immature and just whined about everything and everyone. This second book feels more close to the characters the way the movie developed them and I was so addicted to the story I read it in one day. After Noah left for college Elle and Lee are getting ready for their last year before leaving home as well. Between Noah being so far, a picture of him with a blonde that showed up in social media and a new guy coming to Elle's life the first weeks apart are going to be an extra challenge for them. No efforts at all I was disappointed on this book because there was not excitement at all, not enough interesting booth between Elle, Levi et Noah to keep you hooked up.

I swear it was such a rollercoaster ride and I couldn't put it down anymore. I felt love, hate, mistrust, disappointment, fear and heartbroken throughout the whole story, but it was so worth it for the future to become. I know this probably the last big book but I kind of wish for more. Like always with sefies good story and amazing characters that I love! I like Levi as a new character and even though I was kind of entertaining explain first second and third cousins names list apologise of where click is going with his and Elle's relationship I really liked how it ended and them being there for each other.

In the trailer I could see that they changed several things, like Levi aka Marco in the movie is a sweet and shy guy in the book, but in the movie Marco is popular and a littl Oh boy! This book takes place a few month after Noah goes to college, we can see a slightly more mature Noah, though not very smart with some decisions and a not-so-sweet Lee, he was kind of a jerk sometimes, but he came around. Now i'll wait patiently to see the movie. Elle and Lee are in their senior year of college while Noah is across the country settling into college. I wa surprised by how different this was from the film - I liked a lot of the storyline better. The relationship between Elle and Levi made a lot more sense, and the lack of communication between Elle and Noah was also explained better. I have to say though I really disliked Lee for a good chunk of this - I wanted to give him a good shake! Another quick, easy read that I enjoyed. I really enjoyed this book, I really did but it all just felt a little bit too predictable. The story was nice and I loved the dynamic but it just felt like there was something missing which stopped me giving 4 starssomething I can't quite put my finger on. Overall it was a great read and really brought back that teenage nostalgia from then I first read The Kissing Booth. It was nice to revisit these characters after so long. I watched The Kissing Booth then read the book. I was underwhelmed as it wasn't the best quality and reeked of Wattpad and lacked style.
I read Going the Distance in about three serise and was literally mouthing "What the heck. The conflicts of the book could be resolved within 5 minutes, and Elle is extremely self-centered. She freaks out over the smallest things instead of working things out. Noah has grown, I'll say that, but I disliked Elle so much. Going the Distance had no plot and kinda dagged along for a couple of hundred pages of fake conflict. It was terrible high school stereotypes compiled in one book without any originality. Happy Thursday! I hope your day is going well. And if it isn't, I hope that tomorrow or sometime soon, it gets better. Because I promise that it will get better. I felt so sorry for Elle, her your taste vanilla to make lips how like and the writing style of them really hit me! This book destroyed me and I spent the majority of it crying. Unfortunately reading the The Kissing Booth 2 did not manage to give me the same feels as the first movie. The writing just feels a little undercooked - Not enough exciting, descriptive language - And this paired with a mostly predictable plot did not make for a wonderful read. There are parts of the book I really wanted to slap the protagonist as I was so over her being such a whiny, self-pitying mess.
