I was worried reading the book wouldn't be worth it because I had already seen the movie, but there were actually a lot of scenes that weren't in the movie, so I was never "bored" of reading the same story again.
I liked this book because I do think it the kissing booth 3 book goodreads a good ending to Elle, Lee, and Noah's stories. I think I give this book 2. I quite like The Kissing Booth stories. They are sweet and easy to read. But like the movie this was quite disappointing. There is a bittersweet element to it about the pain of growing up and that big step between leaving your childhood behind and moving forward to your adulthood. Yet, nothing much happened in the book. All the characters, apart from Noah, were pretty whiny. And I just felt that if they all talked about how they were feeling then all their pro I think I give this book 2. Having said that it was quite sweet and it was nice to find out what happens to Noah, Elle, Lee and Rachel. This book had a bittersweet feeling to it the whole time. A lot of the time, you can see all the characters trying to cling to the past, make one last memory to go with all their childhood ones.
As I read, sometimes I felt bad for all the characters, but sometimes I was really annoyed by them. Change is hard, and it can cause a lot of rifts between people. Can she keep everyone happy? I will start off with things I enjoyed which is the ending. Unpopular opinion but I liked the ending, it was the best thing to come out of this book and felt right. My opinion of these characters changed drastically in this book. I was really satisfied with the goodreqds. I know it's been quite controversial, with a lot of hate, but honestly I'm so glad it ended that way. I'm so glad they all managed to go their separate ways and figure out their own lives before coming together and reuniting at the end. I'm glad Elle got to put herself first. I actually enjoyed this book the further through I got. However, it definitely stirred some memories of that time in my life and how confusing and difficult everything feels during that limbo summer between school and university. Beth really captured that feeling of saying goodbye ,issing your childhood and looking forward to the future, and growing up, whilst still trying to cling to everything you've ever known. I had some issues with the relationships friends and romantic and some of the general drama, hence the lower rating, but overall this series had the perfect bittersweet ending.

I was also a fan of how the story incorporated very common and real concerns of people the same age as Elle like choosing college and balancing working at the same time. Majority of the content of the book is the same as that of the movie, but again the book does provide a lot more detail than the film and it extremely well written. I loved how there was no definite ending to the story and that its not confirmed on whether Noah and Elle are together. It is extremely cliche for a happily ever after in romance, and I love how the ending has been left open to interpretation. However I do strongly recommend this book, especially if you are a fan of the movies as it allows you to see the plot and characters in a whole new light. Will Elle have to choose between her best friend and her boyfriend? Okay, I really love this series in books and movies. I'm not even going to begin to dive into these shallow, self obsessed characters and this cringe-worthy writing, but to put it shortly, they were awful. Sometimes you need a little story like The Kissing Booth to help you feel like a kid again. Imagine my surprise when I discovered this was written by a kid. A 17 year old to be exact and she actually wrote it unlike just slapping her name on it like the trainwreck which was Girl Online. The story here is simple — girl and boy Elle and Lee have been best friends literally since their birth on the same day, in the same hospital. But when the school carnival rolls around and Elle and Lee find themselves running the most popular booth of all, things start going a little sideways.
Which gokdreads to Elle and Noah following the sage advice of one R. But seriously, they decide to keep it on the down low. But to Elle's surprise, who has never been kissed before, found herself kissing the guy whom she had a crush on like forever, and that is, Lee's older brother, Noah. Now Elle and Lee made a bunch of childish friendship rules when they were kids, so dating or kissing or sleeping with Noah would be big no-no gooderads Elle and Lee's friendship. Anyhow, Noah and Elle begin to see each other secretly, but hell breaks loose, when Lee finds out about their relationship. What will happen then? The author's writing style is okay, not that great. The plot lacks emotions, hence the readers will fail to connect with the characters and their emotions.
The dialogues are crappy and way too cheesy, no one, especially, no teenager now talk or communicate in this fashion ever. For realistic dialogues, refer to vooth book, 13 Reasons Why. As a whole, the story is "too been there, done that" kind, it's a very common story, when a girl is falling for her best friend's brother. I am just someone who reads books from all genres. I will start off by saying kudos to year old Beth Reekles for is it to kiss someone who able to write a novel, and for being able to reach such a large number of readers on Wattpad.

I read this novel in one night, and I can honestly say I barely remember most of it once I finished it. Like I remember a few scenes like party scenes and some scenes I remember that were in the movie too, but not much stuck from the book nooth my mind. That's mainly why I scored this book a 3. It was decently written, especially for a seventeen year old; I write on Wattpad, myself, and I found it so cool to be reading someones work that derived from there. The Kissing Booth was one of the first few stories I've read. It has got me through a lot of emotions that I fell in love with it. It was as if you were reading an e-book bought from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Reekles took the job seriously and it paid off big time! Not a lot of writers on Wattpad are like her. There are some who also practice the potence of proofreading, but it just so happens that Reekles knows how to get to the hearts of young teens and hopeless romantics looking for a great read. With the undying emergence of young adult fiction, I think we can expect a lot more from this writer, right here. I really did find this a fast, sweet romance. What kind of made me only give it 3 stars was how young the MC, Elle, was, and how she was doing things no 16 year old should. Not to mention that his actions made me swear that it would turn into an abusive relationship. He gets furious if another guy so much as touches her, he tells her she has to change her clothes if he finds it too revealing, and he pretty much grabbed, pulled, and dragged her every chance he got.
