I really enjoyed getting to know Marcus and Lena's world, even if I thought the fist was a little bit loose. The entire time when I was reading this, I was envisioning 13 Going on This book has the same charm, the same humor and the same sweetness without the whole adulthood thing, of course. Plus, the closet scene where Lena and Marcus' powers get switched was the whole key to the 13 Going on 30 deal. I loved the way that the love in this story is kind of unusual. There's Lena, who believes that the idea of love is just composed of chemicals frst the brain and Marcus, how to kiss my boyfriends neck will is shy and doesn't talk much.
They both have their own issues, and they're both very unique characters, but they manage to come together and make this story. I enjoyed the way that they got to know each see more and work through their situation. All in all, this book is classic Staniszewski. Well-written, charming and a great read. I wanted more tied-up ends as to what ended up happening and the consequences to the switching of their powers. Honestly though, it wasn't that much of a blow to the novel. I still really enjoyed this story, and I look forward to more from Staniszewski.

Marcus has the powers to take souls and Lena gets the powers to machmake. It is hard at home to not touch anyone, but, at school, it is harder for them. Anna Staniszewski, makes this book fun and exciting! There are a lot of stuff in this book that I enjoyed! There are a couple chapters whats a good first kisseries are a little whats a good first kisseries slow, but, when you put them all together, it makes sense. Even with some parts being slow, this book was not boring.

People who like love stories should read this book. This book was a good book to read! Sometimes you have to talk to people you wouldn't usually talk to. You may not even know anything about whatts. How to write the perfect first kiss scene
You know the one where a thirteen year old girl becomes a thirty year old women, or a mother and daughter or boy and girl swap bodies. I'm With Cupid isn't quite that kind of swap, instead the characters swap powers when whats a good first kisseries are dared to kiss at a party. You see Marcus is a Cupid and Lena is a reaper. As you can probably guess, this results in some pretty humorous consequences. What I enjoyed most about the book was how they really were such opposites of one another and their swap really brought them face to face with the thing they've been avoiding themselves. Marcus was so adorably shy, awkward and hopelessly smitten with Lena for which she has no cluehe's also been holding on to things because he can't let them go.
He's emotional, for which he took way to much flack from his father over. Being a Cupid, he believes in love at first sight, romance and there is someone out there for everyone. Whereas, Lena doesn't believe in love or such fairy tale magnificent most romantic kisses in movies 2022 list english casually. She feels she is practical, well where to stay in nashville and grounded over ideas like moving on and that death is just a part of life. Her approach to things is very different then that of Marcus, which just makes things more interesting and difficult for the two of them when they have to adjust to their new found powers. Lena and Marcus have to really communicate with each other about having powers and teach each other how to use them correctly. So you can imagine there are some mishaps when you put a reaper in charge of sparking attraction between two people and then also put Cupid in charge of collecting souls.
Overall a very quick read and sweet introduction to a new series. I loved how the story unfolded, it was a little juvenile but it suited the story, it was about learning powers, first loves and growing up. The romance between Lena and Marcus was good since it wasn't insta-love, they had known each other for a while. It progresses at a good pace with a few bumps that only teenagers can come across.
