He is understandably hurt by the developing relationship of his best friend and brother and even though he has issues is supportive of them if not accepting. Elle is not the sort of character I enjoyed in either book or movie. She seemed incredibly immature and naive and was quick to abandon her beliefs all because of 1 kiss. Noah is a constant in the book and movie that he is shown to be a typical jock but also smart enough for Ivy League standards.
