1. Wait at least two weeks before you begin the serious kissing. When you or the person you want to kiss first get braces, you shouldn't rush to start making out the second you walk out of the dentist's office. Your braces will hurt at first, and you'll need some time to get comfortable to the metal in your mouth, and to learn how to manage. Ok, right. Braces. It isn't that different from kissing without braces. I know from both having them on, and not, and kissing those while having them on. The only time it gets sticky is when you guys start making out and exploring each other's mouthes with the tounges. That is much more awkward with braces, and requires a little bit extra from you. When you do kiss, take it slow. Being gentle is important, both for the safety of your braces and your partner. You may want to start with closed-lipped kisses. Be careful.
