How did it get past 1? Come on folks. This wasn't supposed to be a "let's crap on Kiss" thread. There are some members here who actually like Kiss. In fact, I like Kiss more than many every kiss album ranked the prog bands that are idolized in this forum. I'm not a huge fan of non-makeup Kiss, but would probably go every kiss album ranked Revenge as my favorite from that era. Well, I don't know them well enough to rate worst to best but I'll go with Kiss Alive that was produced by my friend Eddie Kramer, who engineered all of Hendrix's studio albums and some of the best from Led Zep. These rankings are horrible, imo. I can somewhat understand the top 10, but after that, the list is a mess. There are also many contradictions within the explanations. Yet, Alive II comes in at 3 -- The live tracks on Alive Fanked are barely listenable with the horrible amount of canned audience effects that Eddie Kramer abused by saturating through each song. The faster pacing of these classic KISS songs didn't translate well to a late 70s live album.

Well, no, I shouldn't say I don't like, I just don't cream myself over it the way others do. It's a great "live" album, for the most part, I prefer the studio versions of the songs. I definitely prefer the studio version of She, because I could never get with the way they drop into the guitar riff that leads into Ace's cadenza.
